New Patients

We do have three physicians at our clinic who are accepting new patients at this time, however ALL new patients are taken from the Comox Valley Health Registry. Please visit HealthlinkBC.ca/health-connect-registry and select Comox Valley to register. All physicians in the Comox Valley who are accepting patients have been advised to accept patients only from this list. This is the best chance to secure a family physician. The physicians do not accept patients who phone the clinic directly.

Did you know you can book appointments directly with our counsellor, social worker, or pharmacist?

At Fifth Street we have a pharmacist, counsellor, social worker on staff with whom you can book appointments directly through our front desk. The pharmacist is able to help you sort through your medications and make medication suggestions to you and your doctor. The counsellor is able to see adults 18 years old and older for in person or virtual appointments for problems such as stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement and substance use. The social worker is also able to help with short term counselling, form completion, and advocate for accessing services.

Need care after hours?

The AFTER HOURS URGENT CARE CLINIC with whom we are affiliated offers same day, in-person, after-hours appointments Monday -Friday 5-9 pm; Saturday, Sunday and Stats from 9am-2pm

 If you have an urgent matter which is not appropriate for the Emergency Room, and which cannot be addressed during regular clinic hours or at the After Hours Clinic AND you do not have another method of contacting your physician, the clinic cell phone number is 250-702-3448. Please note this phone number is a last resort after having exhausted other options.
